About This Service

Over time, and with stress and pollution, our skin suffers and shows signs of fatigue and aging (wrinkles, dryness, fragility, hyper and hypo pigmentation, etc.) To support the skin, and to respond effectively and gently to these problems, Origin Wellness offers Facial Renew. This sophisticated technology brings together infrared light, radio frequencies, suction and massage. Radio frequency technology is based on the emission of high frequency electromagnetic waves, which produce heat in skin tissue. It is recommended for stimulating epithelial cells to synthesize new fibers of collagen and elastin, with the aim of firming the skin and fighting wrinkles. Combined with infrared light, suction and massage, Facial Renew stimulates and detoxifies the skin, helping to plump and rehydrate it. In short, it gives tired skin a boost. A Facial Renew session can be used locally on an area of the face or on the entire face and neck.

Preparing for the Service

As with all of our services, we recommend drinking plenty of water both before and after the session to help with the elimination of toxins. High quality water is provided at Origin Wellness.

We recommend wearing comfortable clothing, and to please remove makeup before arriving.

A small amount of high-quality, organic oils will be applied to the skin to facilitate the movement of the massage head on the skin.

Contraindications

We request that you do not use this equipment if you have one of the following contraindicated conditions. Risks are not limited to the following so please consult your physician if in any doubt:

• Burns/skin damage/ Acute infections
• Rash or inflammation (e.g. Shingles, Cold sores etc.)
• Light sensitivity
• Bleeding diseases/Anticoagulant treatment
• New Cancer diagnosis that is progressing
• Cosmetic surgery

Use with caution:

• Recent injections (avoid injection site)
• Recent facial treatments (Botox, fillers etc.)
• Unstable Hypothyroidism/hypocortisolism/Diabetes
