Virtual Fitness
About this service
Virtual Fitness combines mental health sciences and gaming technologies to improve our mind-body performance. In this virtual reality fitness, you can fly or swim through magnificent landscapes while getting a great workout. This enables you to train different muscle groups with a focus on the upper body, while also improving reflexes, balance, and coordination--of course, all while having fun. Numerous studies show that this is an effective way to improve your strength, balance, stability, responsiveness, and coordination. Virtual Fitness offers us another means of fighting against a sedentary lifestyle. It also provides a simple, fun, and efficient tool to help push our self-imposed limits. Crossing mountains and forests, seas and other immense landscapes, the Virtual Fitness machine combines entertainment, fitness and work on the mind-body connection.
A multidisciplinary team of athletes, researchers, and engineers combined their experience and knowledge to create this service, which is a small and robust articulated frame, simple yet very sophisticated, with supports for the hands and feet, and pads for the knees and elbows. After adjusting this mini exoskeleton to fit comfortably and putting on a 3D VR headset, you stretch, lie down, and start soaring high above otherwise inaccessible worlds. You change direction simply by shifting your weight around the frame, back and forth and side to side in a feeling of both effort and freedom.
Virtual Fitness exercises burn 30% more calories than typical weight lifting for the anterior deltoids, pectoral muscles, external abdominal obliques, trapezius, triceps, and the upper thigh. This new technology also gives powerful bilateral brain training. In the end, this specialized virtual reality equipment looks more and more like serious workout equipment, allowing the "pilot" to enjoy a real feeling of skill and freedom, even after only working out for a few minutes. Made from high-quality materials, the machine is optimized for intensive and efficient use.
So: on your mark, get set, fly!
